The London Skin Club was jointly founded by researchers at Imperial College, Queen Mary, and Kings College London. The Club meets on a biannual basis, and is an informal environment where academics and clinicians with an interest in skin and hair can meet and discuss their latest findings. Hosted in London, the Skin Club is open to researchers from all around the UK.
Each meeting follows a similar format, designed to encourage discussion and promote collaboration. In each meeting four/five PhD students or postdoctoral researchers will present their latest research. This will be followed by a longer keynote presentation by an established PI in the field. The goal of the London Skin Club is to be an open forum for safe discussion, presentation of working hypotheses and future plans, and we therefore encourage presentation of unpublished results.
To facilitate discussion, each meeting will be followed with ample wine and cheese.
